I am keen to encourage more Japanese to study in the UK. This is one of the surest ways to bulid a strong basis for UK-Japan friendship into the future. The British Education Office is a commercial organisation working closely with a number of UK universities in this field, and I wish them success in developing the educational links between the UK and Japan.
