Hello! My name is David Tobin and I represent Aston University, Birmingham in Japan. Founded in 1895, and a university since 1966, Aston University has a strong history of academic excellence with Foundation, Bachelors and Masters programmes in Business (including MBA), Health, Social Sciences, Languages, Science and Engineering. Our highly ranked undergraduate programmes are available with a year’s paid professional experience in industry. My name is Helen Lytras and I am an International Officer at Royal Holloway, University of London.

Royal Holloway is one of the larger multi-faculty colleges in the University of London, and has an excellent reputation for teaching and research. Our beautiful 135-acre parkland campus provides a relaxed location, with a vibrant student community, whilst also offering easy access to London. Our extensive course range includes: politics, international relations, management, media arts, psychology, history, European studies, economics and English literature. Our English and academic preparation courses include Study Abroad with Academic English, University Foundation Programme and Pre-Masters Diploma for International Students.

Founded in Brighton in 1959, Bellerbys College is an international high school which prepares over 1000 international students for university entry every year. The college uses expert teachers and small classes averaging 9 students per class to enable our students to achieve outstanding results. A full range of A Levels are offered, alongside a widely recognised foundation programme where students can choose one of 8 subject streams depending on their intended undergraduate degree course. In 2010 45% of A Level students went to the top 10 ranked UK universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London and the London School of Economics. Meanwhile foundation students won places at over 70 different UK universities. Bellerbys College has four campuses in the south of England in the picturesque towns of Brighton, Cambridge and Oxford as well as Greenwich in south east London. Navitas: Navitas colleges are located within the campuses of 18 public universities with in the UK, Canada and Australia providing degree and postgraduate pathways to hundreds of degrees. The main feature of the Navitas pathways is that students study on the university campus through ESL, diploma and degree studies. Navitas diplomas articulate directly to the second year of undergraduate degrees and this system has become a very popular way for Japanese students to enter universities.
